Prompts and References
Write stronger prompts and decide when to use image, video, or audio references.
Prompt ingredients
A useful video prompt usually contains:
- Subject: who or what appears in the frame.
- Action: what changes during the shot.
- Environment: where the scene happens.
- Camera: static, dolly, pan, tilt, orbit, macro, aerial, or handheld.
- Light and style: time of day, lens, color grade, medium, or genre.
Reference image
Use an image when the first frame, product shape, character, outfit, or composition matters. The model will treat it as a visual anchor and animate from that starting point.
Reference video
Use a video when you care more about motion language than exact pixels. Good references include camera moves, walking rhythm, product rotation, or scene reveals.
Reference audio
Use audio when timing matters. Music, voice pace, or beat structure can guide the rhythm of the shot.
Practical advice
Do not upload references for every generation. Start with text. Add references only when the model needs a concrete visual, motion, or timing target.
